THE BRIEF
Our gorgeous couple, Laura and Charlie were both celebrating their 40th birthdays… 40+40 = a fantastic 80’s themed party!
OUR SOLUTION
Our team scoped out a fantastic venue, which we transformed into an 80’s cocktail bar. Our staff all donned shell suits and the guests excelled everyone’s expectations with their innovative and outlandish outfits.
THE VENUE
We sourced the perfect venue for the event, the super-cool Kachette in Shoreditch. The railway arch venue was once home to the original ticket hall of Shoreditch Railway Station which operated from 1865 to 1940. Shoreditch has been an entertainment quarter since the 16th century. The district is now a hotspot for bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants, independent shops and pop-ups. Kachette is in close proximity to Old Street station and the popular East London tourist destinations Boxpark and Brick Lane.
THE EVENT
Our team of expert event planners sourced and managed:
- A light-up neon bar, complete with 80’s cocktails made by our mixologists
- DJ and our Fake Tan Band, specialising in 80’s bangers, playing all our favourite 80’s party hits
- Fresh bowl food, made by our chefs and served by our shell-suit-clad staff
- A state-of-the-art LED light-up dancefloor for our guests to boogie the night away on
- A lighting and production team managing the sound and lights and keeping those disco balls spinning
- A Berlin-style Photoautomat, allowing guests take home a memento of the evening, along with an online sharing gallery available to the hosts
- A photographer who worked the room all night, capturing those all-important moments when the hosts and guests were partying
